The plan is to jump start KoreanTourGuide back to life. It’s been about 4 years since I’ve taken it seriously. This year many of my group tour clients came back to me to provide programs for their students in Korea. We gladly took on their requests. Me being in the States now, it was hard to communicate with my vendors so I decided to take on a partner to run the operations. She’s done a great job so far in being on top of the requests clients are asking for.

It is incumbent upon me to get the other sides of the business going again. The website is a bit stale. It’s got a lot of bugs preventing people from properly logging onto the system. I’m currently exploring ways to outsource this to some SAAS companies to go from crawl, walk, run strategy. It’s been a wild world of navigating through different systems, understanding what their base packages are, tolerating their add-on services and coming to terms with the limitations of their products. I think this is a good start.

The idea is to get the basic MVP going again and that is to provide tour guides in South Korea to anyone visiting there. Once we get the ball rolling on that, then we can provide other services. I’m thinking down the line here, but possibly adding in higher value added distinguished speakers and venue space is another avenue we might be able to go down. First things first.
